In 2024/2025 we are inviting three volunteers to work with us. Two of our current ESC volunteers end their stay in August, and we aare therefore looking for two new ESC volunteers from September 2024 – March 2025.  Danes are applicable to apply. 

The volunteers will be working with the Danish Ecovillage Network three days a week. The areas in which the volunteers will work are project work, educational work and members engagement/communication. 

Apart from working with LOES 3 times a week, 2 days will be in the hosting ecovillage, where tasks can include everything from cooking shared dinners with the community cooking teams, assisting in the gardens and running activities in a nearby asylum center. Once every second week, the whole team will have an office day together.

The right candidates should have a basic understanding of and an interest in sustainability. Also, you have to be ready to take part in community life in an ecovillage in the countryside – 52 adults, 30 children, 10 horses, gardens, a lake, a forest etc.
