launch & thrive (erasmus+)
LØS is an old network with a lot of experience. That is why GEN Europe asked LØS to participate in this project, where national networks share experiences and learn together, for the benefit of others and especially new national networks. Because unity makes strength. At a time when the ‘European Green Deal’ in the EU is under debate, the national networks in Europe must be strengthened so that they are ready for the challenges that we, as the voices of civil society, are helping to solve.
A PARTNERSHIP AROUND NATIONAL NETWORKS
The project assists the national networks to be created and to thrive.
We collect both good and bad experiences from the European networks to create resources that will help networks to start up and flourish.
The team consists of people from national networks in Denmark, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and the Baltic transnational network.
The products will be:
- A manual
- An online platform
- Videos on national networks
- A collection of methods to set direction for the network.
The way the project is structured involves, among other things, an exchange between Denmark and Ukraine, where you visit each other for a few months and get a first-hand impression of the other network. Iryna from GEN Ukraine has therefore been in Denmark for 3 months and worked closely with Camilla from the LØS secretariat, who is now waiting to come to Ukraine.
It is all part of GEN Europe’s mission to build capacity in networks and support the spread of eco-communities and eco-communal values.
We are proud to be part of it.

It is always welcome to have more volunteers in the projects, so that the project manager is not responsible for all the tasks. In this project, a volunteer is, for example, involved in writing about the difference between a network and an organization and the development of an ‘accountability tool’. This is being developed, among other things, at the transnational project meetings that have taken place in Denmark, Italy and Germany.
