The START package
LOES is political, as an interest organization. This means that LOES is politically engaged, for example, to improve the framework conditions for building eco-communities and in the green transition more broadly. Members of LOES can represent LOES through the association in relevant forums, coordinated through the political circle. It is important for LOES to be present and participate actively.
ENERGY COMMUNITIES
LØS has participated in working groups, hearings, conferences, workshops, etc. regarding energy communities and renewable energy.
It is an important issue for eco-communities to be able to come together to produce and consume green energy.
LØS has helped to start a new national organization: Energifællesskaber Danmark.

THE GUIDANCE UNIT IN SBST
A state unit has been established in the Danish Social and Housing Agency to guide municipalities, citizens, etc. within building and housing communities, including a special assignment on Tiny Houses.
LØS follows the work continuously, especially through bofællesskab.dk, which has a representative in an established ERFA group, and by participating in events.
See more about the Guidance Unit here.

A NEW ECONOMIC MODEL
It can be difficult to obtain financing for the more unusual projects – especially if you have not been active in the housing market. LØS is therefore developing concepts for how to work differently, for example fund-driven, with financing communities.
A number of clarifying and exploratory meetings are currently being held with various stakeholders. GAIA Trust have been kind enough to support the initial idea development.
