Member-driven circles in LOES
Here you can read about the circles (committees) in LOES. The circles create several entry points to LOES, so that it is not primarily the board that the members are active in. All members can take ownership of the organizational structure by being an active part of the circles. You can contribute with your skills – or practice your skills. The most important thing is commitment. Not all circles are active all the time – and new circles can also arise, as long as there are a few who want to.
The coordination circle (board) is currently updating the sociocratic work with the circles. It can therefore be expected that an updated overview of active and desired circles will be available soon. Contact the board for further information.

Circles in LOES
The coordination circle
This is the board. The circle’s purpose is, among other things, to develop the vision for LOES, prepare a strategy and action plan, define work areas and mandates for the circles, and take care of ongoing organizational development. As a board member, you form a link to one of the other circles.

Rådgivercirklen
A circle of people who are interested in LOES; but are not on the board. Changing boards and members can consult this to obtain advice on principled and strategic issues, including the formulation of the association’s purpose and its interpretation – as well as to monitor whether LOES is actually making progress towards this purpose.

The project circle
The purpose of the circle is to create projects, counsel, ask for advice, create synergy, gain an overview of shared resources, ensure that LOES is considered in the projects and constitute a kind of mentor community. The starting point for the circle is that all members have the opportunity to propose and run projects in LOES.
The economy circle
Consists of a treasurer, accountant, project coordinator and foreman, but others with expertise in finance can also participate.
