Guidelines for debate on the website

All news posts can be freely read and commented on by anyone with access to the internet. Commenters, however, must have their first comment approved by the webmaster. We strive to do this within 24 hours.

We would like to see that the posts in the debate are characterized by decency and mutual respect between the debaters.

The National Association for Eco-Communities therefore reserves the right to delete or edit comments that:

  • Contains content that violates applicable law
  • Has the nature of harassment or otherwise attacks or is condescending towards authors or debaters
  • Is advertising or contains other commercial messages
  • Is formulated in a crude or offensive tone
  • Appears to be unserious

Users can bring comments that violate the guidelines to the webmaster’s attention by sending an email to info@okosamfund.dk.

Debators who repeatedly violate the rules may be temporarily banned from posting comments and letters to the editor. Users who consistently display poor debate etiquette may be permanently banned.

You are not obligated to respond to posts to your posts in the discussion forum, just as others are not obligated to respond to your posts.

Good advice for comments
  • Write briefly and get to the point quickly
The content of the comment should stick to the topic
  • Use language and examples that everyone understands
  • Words can hurt and seem harsher in writing – so use at least the same friendly tone as in everyday life
  • Avoid writing sentences or headlines in capital letters to get attention.

Comments written on this page may also be published in the magazine “Economic Society in Denmark”.

We are happy that you would like to contribute with your comments. Welcome!
